Hi, I have a GL-X3000 / Spitz AX router and after updating the latest firmware, a malfunction occurred: it no longer connected to the internet. I had set it in multivan mode, of which the 1st priority was a modem router on a Lan cable and the last priority was a mobile phone with a 5g Iliad sim. The usage mode is with failover activated. Everything worked well for about 20 days, but suddenly one morning when I turned on the PC, despite the fact that the internet menu of the Splitz x 3000 web page showed me that the sim card was active (light blue), it no longer connected. I tried turning the splitz x 300 off and on again several times but it did not connect to the internet. Finally I had to perform a reset, losing all the custom settings (Local Time, IP address of the Spitz changed from 192.168. 8.1 to 192.168. 5.1, failover enabled etc. etc.) after the reset it reconnected to the internet, but I had to reset all the settings. Now I ask what could have happened? Is it a bug in the new firmware? I noticed that in the Sptz menus there is no backup setting for the custom settings that can be used in case of a reset. (in any case I backed up the custom settings by entering the advanced settings of the Splitz menu via Openwrt but I don't know if they could be useful in case of a new reset.). Another thing I would like to know is how to set the priority of the connection use in failover mode. Thanks
The sequence under Failover is the priority of multi-interfaces, pulled on the right side to change the priority.
- Please screenshot the 'multi-WAN' configuration and 'INTERNET' main page of your router.
- Please login the SSH:
ifconfig
ip r
traceroute google.com
- Please share your syslog, PM me.
OK thanks. I solved the priority problem in multivan because it proceeds with the drag and drop mode. But I can't enter in SSH mode. Using putty I insert in the login the router's IP address and in the password "admin" because I left the factory one. Unfortunately an indication comes out that is incorrect, I can't find either in the simple web page or in the advanced one of openwrt, the check to enable the login in SSH mode: could you tell me how to do it?
SSH username is root, password is same as login GL Web UI.
