I’d like to define different vpn rules for WiFi and different for LAN. Unfortunately, LAN and WiFi is recognized as the same connection type.

Thank you for your suggestion. At the moment, connection types are categorized according to firewall zones.
Because LAN and the primary Wi-Fi interface are bridged to same interface and assigned to the same firewall zone, they are treated as a same connection type.
If you need separate VPN policies for LAN and Wi-Fi, you can consider using the Guest Wi-Fi network instead.
Alternatively, you may create a network with a new bridged interface and firewall zone in Luci, then bind the primary Wi-Fi to that new network.
