Synology NAS does not appear in the list of clients

Hi, I have two Gl iNet Routers in place, GL-MT1300 and GL-AX1800, both refuse to show my Synology NAS as connected client in the router clients list.
The Synology NAS is plugged into the router with a short LAN cable, I have tried several cables, I have never had such a problem with other routers.
Do I need to configure or install something ?

Any idea or proposal?

Thank you and regards,
Stratos

But the NAS shows it is connected / the NAS is reachable?
Or is it just "dead"?

The nas is up and running as usual and shows internal activity with the leds.
I cannot connect to the nas to check anything else because I don't have the IP address.
Thanks

Is it configured to use DHCP?

Yes, everything is default in the Network/LAN section.
I have just changed the subnet area from 192.168.8.* to 192.168.1.* , but still the NAS is not detected.
The led next to the lan jack of the nas is lightened when I patch the LAN cable into both boxes.

No, I mean: Your NAS is using DHCP as well? Or was it static before?

Yes that's the root cause, I wasn't aware of this setting at all!!
Thank you very much, everything is working properly now !
