tailscale exit node not working comet poe

Hello,

ive setup the comet poe and ive been using it as a kvm. I am however, unable to use it as an exit node. The device is already bound to my tailscale account, I already clicked as exit node, and already approved as exit node in tailscale.

However, if i use it as exit node in another device, it wont be able to access the internet. It just comes up with ‘This site cant be reached’ DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG error. Any ideas?

Hi, I wonder which firmware version your Comet POE are in.
And could you export the log file to us for analysis? Via PM or email me ([email protected])

echo "nameserver 8.8.8.8" > /etc/resolv.conf

running this command should temply resolve this problem

thanks for the suggestion. I added the entry in resolv.conf

restarted comet poe and use it as exit node

but i still get the same error

Don’t reboot , /etc/resolv.conf just a link of /tmp/resolv.conf , which will be regenerate after reboot

ive reentered the dns entry into resolv.conf and tried connecting from another device using glkvm as exit node (havent restarted glkvm) and it seems the same.

your updated command seems to be working. any permanent fix in the pipeline? ie i dont have to add an entry everytime its rebooted?
