Kind of stuck at the moment. I don't want to go ripping firmware, downgrading and doing a bunch of clean up before I see if anyone has any idea of where to go from here.
In the latest firmware of AX1800, the GL GUI comes with Tailscale by default.
There is no need to manually install Tailscale and Tailscaled from plugins.
Please try reset firmware and check it, thank you.
I appreciate the fast reply. It looks like when the Firmware got updated, Tailscale was nuked. I completely believe you bruce, but it just not what I experienced on my end. After updating to 4.6.x both Tailscale and Tailscaled were uninstalled and needed to be reinstalled. That's when I captured the screenshot above.
After enabling SSH, I ran admon's script and immediately got a bind link, was able to get Tailscale up and running, exit nodes and subnets all configured in matter of minutes.
Not sure why the In-GUI installer is crapping out, maybe there's a way to integrate admon's script into this process as it was flawless and I very much appreciate the effort that was put into it.
Love this AX1800, and I cannot wait to use it on my next trip. Thank you both!
