I was wondering is there any plans for Tailscale to have its own option on the Slate7 Menu or Mobile App to enable / disable the exit node? I would love to have this as an option on the hardware switch.
Sometimes the router is just used as a router. Other times I want that traffic to go via my home connection and would prefer not needing to connect to the web interface via a browser to turn it off and on.
Otherwise I am really enjoying the Slate7, that would be my only real bugbear at the moment is not being able to enable and disable it on the fly like with can with AdGuard and various VPN providers.
I have a toggle for the VPN using WireGuard as well as OpenVPN but Wireguard has compatibility issues with Tailscale so not being able to turn tailscale off the fly via the mobile app or sceen itself is a pain.
If there are plans for these features do you have a timeframe or a wishlist somewhere?
I want to add my vote for this feature. Being able to toggle use-exit-node on and off through the touchscreen, the side switch, or (AND?) in the mobile app, would be spectacular.
Or even steps for people to add the feature themselves.
Ended up setting up my own WireGuard Server so I could use that via VPN to connect home / tunnel my traffic as it was annoying having to sign into the Router to toggle on and off Tailscale routing. Already have that automated on my phone so will keep that.
But it seems to be a popular request to have better support for Tailscale.
