[Technical] Add Adguard DNS to list of encrypted DNS providers

Adguard supports DOH and DOT. But in dropdown menu there is only Cloudflare encrypted DNS.

If check unencrypted variant, there is regular Adguard DNS. Why not support encrypted Adguard DNS?

Do NOT recommend to use “Adguard Home” please because some devices from GL cannot support it.

DNS-over-HTTPS

Default server

AdGuard DNS will block ads and trackers.

Non-filtering server

AdGuard DNS will not block ads, trackers, or any other DNS requests.

Family protection server

Drop-down menu?

ADGuard Home is fully customised.
You can set as many servers you want: DNSCrypt, DNS-over-TLS, DNS-over-HTTPS, QUIC…

You need to switch to DNSCrypt-Proxy mode, so you can at least use DNSCrypt.

Unfortunately DNS-over-TLS or HTTPs isn’t supported in the firmware currently.

Yes you have missed the point, AdGuard and AdGuardHome are completely different products.

I'm sharing the same issue.
I'm have active subscription to Adguard DNS for the next few years, and I don't wat to use Adguard Home plugin in my GL-E750 Mudi Router, since its heavy, it consume system resources and there is no point, if I could only set my DNS to the Adguard DNS over TLS. But on the dropdown menu there is only cloudflare and NexDNS.
If i could only attach my Adguard DNS link to it, everything will be solved.

the solution that I'm using for now is using my personal DNS links on Adguard Home application (plugin), but it decreases the performance of the router overall.
If there was at least a different Application to install to use my own Adguard DNS personal links without the need of running Adguard Home it would be better.

It's been nearly a year and they've still not fixed this simple feature which would be so useful for the Mango and Opal upwards.
