I just bought this router and trying to configure tether with my phone using following guide. Can you please let me know which IPK file do I have to use? I used the generic one in following path,
\17.01.0\ar71xx\generic
but it doesn’t work, there’s no internet connection and the Tether option in router settings says No phone device connected. Any help is highly appreciated.

It should work with iPhone and Andriod.
Hi Alzhao, thank you for your reply. That’s solved. It does work, just doesn’t show any phone in the ‘tether’ section. The reason no link wasn’t opening was due to the fact that Easytether was ‘lite’ version. No https.
Which app can we use to tether from iPhone?
For iPhone there is no app needed. It just works if you turn on hotspot
