Has anyone ever tried USB tethering via PdaNet? Just curious.
I’ve used PdaNet USB & WiFi tethering for years with a variety of clients.
With an Android phone running the PdaNet server, you don’t necessarily have to have a PdaNet driver installed on the client side – you do have to manually setup a proxy (192.168.49.1:8000) Any chance I could do this on my GL-AR300M ?
You can try this:
Personally, I like the free Android Every Proxy app, which does almost the same thing and a bit more. I have the PdaNet+ app also, but find it somewhat clunky.
I do not work for and I am not directly associated with GL.iNet

Thanks; 'will look into that.
did you ever find a solution to this? i’m trying to do the same thing with the Beryl and a pixel phone
No, I found that using Easy Tether was a simple solution
yeah i was doing that previously with my mango, but i got the beryl, and i don’t believe the easytether software supports that chip. oh well thanks for the reply
