Transfer of eSim from phone to Spitz AX without using physical sim

Hello all,

My Spitz AX arrived today and I am excited to get it to work.
I have been using a eSim for data on the phone for some months now and the idea was to transfer this eSim to Spitz. I do not have the original physical sim card.
So, is it possible to have Spitz work on the eSim without inserting a physical sim card?

This isn't possible. The current eSIM feature is more a eSIM management feature for the physical eSIM card, afaik

Ok, thank you.
I bought a new sim card with data connection which I can convert to esim. I also bought the physical esim card from GL Inet. Now the question is how do I upload the QR code from my service provider to the router?

By inserting the physical eSIM into your router, reboot the router and the eSIM management page should appear. See How to set up eSIM - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

This is clear. I meant how to set up a profile from my third party network(not the one which comes with the physical esim) for an esim with a qr code?

Also after upgrading to firmware in the following link http://download.gl-inet.com/firmware/x3000/esim/ for esim support the internet and cellular lights are off. But the internet and cellular connection is working

A known bug, if I remember right.

@bruce Do you know about this?

Hello,

There seems to be a issue.
When using eSIM and the Internet is normal, that 2 LEDs should light up.

If it uses a normal phone SIM card, will the cellular and Internet LED light up?
If not have normal SIM, connects with Ethernet WAN/repeater, etc., will the Internet LED light up?

Could you please share screenshot of the GL GUI > Internet, and photo of the router LED?

I will send the pic later becquse i am not close to the router.
However the physical esim is not present in the router but the firmware posted in my last post is running. I strongly suspect its a firmware bug.

I d like to confirm too, since the cellular modem link is available, LEDs should also be light up
