I need a Travel Router for photography, with OpenWRT and MicroSD - but I am unable to find specs of Mudi V7 showing an sd-card (which seems very very strange)
Can someone confirm Mudi V7 really contains an microsd port ?
(Or propose an alternative router)
Thanks
No, it doesn't.
The Mudi 750 had one nano sim slot and a 1TB micro SD slot; the Mudi 7 changed that to two nano sim slots. Plus, the esim chip and WISP. So much more focus on upstream flexibility.
The Mudi 7 has a USB-C OTG port, so it may be possible to plug in a USB-C thumb drive. I don't know that there are similar micro drives like USB-A.
But I think if you think through storage vs router vs cellular link you might see many solutions. Personally I haven't ever used a router for storage; it's been on the device or in the cloud or over a VPN to a safer backed up space. I've experimented with the card on the Beryl and experimented with using the USB port on a bunch of routers for more app storage, but at the end of the day the USB port was better for tethering.

Hi
As elorimer mentioned, the Mudi 7 does not have a microSD card slot.
So you might consider the following options:
-
Use the Mudi 7 with a small USB-C flash drive as an alternative.
-
For other models recommend that do have a microSD card slot, you can visit our product page and check the “MicroSD Slot” filter on the left to find suitable devices.
A nearby option might be the Puli AX (with 5G cellular connectivity and an integrated battery), though it is significantly larger in size.
