I would say ... a link is missing

Sorry, I had trouble attaching the files to the first post, probably because the topic was waiting for approval. I will try to attach the ZIP package in this reply.

The ZIP contains the unofficial Czech translation for both the GL.iNet web UI and the built-in LCD screen, including a short README with installation instructions. Please make a backup before using it.

Mudi7_Czech_translation.zip (107.7 KB)

By the way, you might want to have a look into the official translating system: https://weblate.gl-inet.com

Thanks, I didn’t know about the official Weblate system.

I created and tested the Czech translation locally first, because I wanted to verify that both the Web UI and the built-in LCD screen can actually use Czech text correctly, including Czech diacritics.

The Web UI part should probably be suitable for Weblate contribution. I will have a look at the GL.iNet Weblate system and see how to submit the Czech suggestions there.

The LCD screen translation seems to use a separate local text file:

/etc/gl_screen/language/text/default

I am not sure whether this LCD part is also covered by Weblate. If it is, please let me know which Weblate component/project should be used for it.

For now, I attached the ZIP package here mainly as a working/tested community version.

Hi,

Thank you for your contribution to the Czech translation.

At the moment, Weblate does not appear to support translations related to the Mudi7 LCD screen yet.

We’ll discuss this with the product manager and see whether support for it can be added.

Hi!
I'm very happy to share a small improvement to this great tool! In the meantime, I've made further improvements to the previous version, but I'm having a hard time sharing it by embedding files in a thread, as most attachment types are blocked.

Unfortunately, to prevent abuse of our servers as file distribution platforms, we have no choice but to place certain restrictions on supported file types.

However, if you package the attachments as a .zip file like before, it should work without any issues.

I am attaching an improved version of the localization into the Czech language.Mudi7_český_překlad_ v.2.zip (97.5 KB)
