When I try to perform a software update, I currently receive a message
"Failed to update repository list, please check your network and try again."
If I switch to "Manage sources" and copy/paste a link(https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/mt798x/kmod-4.5.7/aarch64_cortex-a53/mediatek/mt7986) into the browser I receive the message Error: [object Object]
Hi @admon, thank you for your answer. I'm using GL.iNet GL-E750 with OpenWrt 22.03.4 and 4.3.17 gl-inet firmware. I was able to install Tailscale and Tailscaled packages but can't install neither gl-sdk4-tailscale nor gl-sdk4-ui-tailscaleview packages. My goal is to have the gl-inet's UI for Tailscale on my router.
E750 does not support the tailscale in the GL GUI (GL firmware).
Since it consumes much performance which probably over the E750 CPU, we did not add the Tailscale in the firmware for surely the basic network features of the E750.
If you still required, please PM me to get the manual .ipk.
MT6000 supported Tailscale. R&D will improve some issues and release the newer Beta firmware again, the older one has been removed from the download server.
I have a glinet ar300m microrouter with 128MB of ROM ( ath79 mips_24kc hardware) . The firmware 4.3.18 support a lot of new packages and about tailscale I could find gl-sdk4-ui-tailscaleview , tailscale , but there is still gl-sdk4-tailscale.ipk missing for the webview menu. Could you please update the repository, or at least provide an gl-sdk4-tailscale.ipk as for that plateforme please ?
Those tiny router are grat and powerful. I could run tailscale on native opnewrt firmware, without issue (ar300m with 128MB rom). The problem is that with the tailscale original cli method to set it up on glinet firmware the router reboot (issue with that method ).
A web interface is nice and that is why your product are great, so please provide us at leat an gl-sdk4-tailscale.ipk for the webview menu or a workaround to install that on 128MB rom devices like ar300M (ath79).
