Seems more like an issue with your ISP / VPN.
Maybe they block Github?

I know you said you have adguard disabled but just double check again. Toggle off both adguard options and make sure your VPN client / server is toggled off too. Go to Network > DNS and apply manual DNS and select something like cloudflare (1.1.1.1) apply and then try and pull / run the script again. I have had this happen before and it's usually a case of just applying some custom DNS again after toggling adguard and VPN off.
When you re-enabled adguard then you can toggle on handle clients too if that option was previously on / you want that feature.

Just wanted to drop by and say thanks, this worked, script ran just fine after I changed the manual DNS to Google. Oddly cloudflare didn’t work at all (no Internet).
I’m in a hotel room running the Beryl as a repeater, maybe the country I’m in doesn’t do cloudflare.
