Hi all,
I’m encountering an issue I haven’t seen in the 2+ years I’ve had my X3000.
I’ve had it for two years on a T-Mobile business plan with TTL/HL set to 65 and never had any issues.
A month ago I switched to US Mobile Lightspeed (T-Mobile) and for the first few weeks had no issues whatsoever.
I switched to Dark Star for around 10 days, didn’t like it (but it worked fine), so I switched back to Lightspeed and that’s when the issue started:
Since I switched back to Lightspeed, SOME but not all of my data is being reported as hotspot data:
After I noticed this happening this morning for yesterday’s data, I double checked that both TTL and HL are set to 65 for SIM1 (my only SIM currently installed). I also rebooted the router.
I also recently updated to 4.0 “0900beta2” - I believe that was during the time I was on Dark Star and I don’t know if something in this beta firmware release is causing the issue on Lightspeed but wasn’t an issue for Dark Star. I don’t have any evidence of that, but obviously I can’t rule it out at this point either.
When I do a traceroute (say to 1.1.1.1) I only see two hops (router is the first hop, and one.one.one.one is the second hop) which makes me think the TTL mod is working correctly.
Beyond that, I’m not sure what to check besides maybe rolling back firmware. Your thoughts are appreciated!
