Use the WAN port of GL-MT3000 as extender

hi guys, i do currently use the GL-MT3000 as wifi extender using wifi signals. i was wondering if its possible to use the wan port of the router to act as my internet client, using my primary router for dhcp and such instead of using the wifi signals, the reason is simple, by using the wifi signals it splits my speed of wifi in half. i tried to search this topic but couldnt find anything.

so making a wan/lan extender instead of wifi extender.

You can basically hook up the beryl by ethernet cable to your main router and use it as a normal Access Point.
