Use toggle button to switch between AP mode and Router Mode

Hi I know this feature disappeared with the newer versions of FW but is it possible to have the toggle button switch the network mode between AP and Router mode? I switch between the two often and do not like having to reset the device every time i have to switch out of AP mode.

You can go to NETWORK → Network Mode page changed the mode.

That is true when i am in router mode but when i am in AP mode i dont believe there is a way to login to the router to change the network mode. am i missing something?

There is a toggle button on the side of the unit, can that be used to switch between network modes? If so can you please provide how.

The toggle button cannot be used to switch between the Router mode and AP mode.
In AP mode, router can be managed using its WAN address.

Please can you clarify? This would be a great feature to have ideally. The ability to use the physical switch to revert between router mode and another network mode like WDS would be amazing. I have two devices (ideally I would have more!), sometimes I run them independently when the family splits up across hotel rooms, some times I run it as one large network together when we get an apartment. Getting back into the WDS router to switch back to router mode is a real pain messing around, especially with the BSSID hiding where the WDS router is. Utilising the toggle switch would be a game changer for me. Thanks
