Using Slate GL-AXT1800 as an extender of Cradlepoint R980

I am changing my streaming set up to utilize the Cradlepoint R980 as a 5G router to stream my boys baseball games. I am trying to set up the Slate Router as an extender as I had when I was using a Starlink and it will not work as I need it. When I connect a NearStream VM33 camera it needs to be on the same network as my control device(IPad) in order for the software to work. Everything works correctly if I connect both (camera and IPad) to the Slate or both to the Cradlepoint. However, it does not work if I connect Camera to Slate and IPad to the Cradlepoint. The reason I’m trying to do this is to extend the reach of the camera to the outfield where I manage the software near the dugout. I’m sure I’m doing something incorrect that is simple, but cannot figure it out. Any suggestions?
I was able to use the router as I want with the Starlink previously.

Hi,

Probably the Cradlepoint does not support mDNS? or are there any special protocol traffic in the NearStream VM33

Does the NearStream VM33 in iPad work ok when the Slate AX (extender?) and Starlink?

Have ever tried the repeater?
