Now that I know more about IMEIs and the Amarok X1200 I fear that I should not have expected my verizon SIM to work with the EP06 modem on their network. I get the SIM not registered error and never get an IP address assigned though clearly the modem connects to the cells in the area. Is there anything I can do? I put my SIM back in my Netgear hotspot and it works fine there. Some internet posts imply that gl.Inet is supposed to register the IMEI with Verizon but they have not done so…
It should work. Can you manually set the correct APN? If does not work,can you write to support at gl-iNet.com?
