Verizon Novatel 620L problems and 300M

I have a 300M travel router that I just got and am having trouble with my Verizon Novatel 620L internet dongle. I plug in the device to the router and the 620L is not able to successfully connect to the internet once plugged in. The device shows up in tethering and I select it, but the red status light comes on the unit, which indicates it can’t connect to Verizon. When I plug the dongle into a laptop again, I am able to connect to verizon and surf the internet. Any ideas?

If the modem is working in tethering mode, it should have its own web panel.

Can you pls check if you can connect to its web panel?

What is the IP address the router got from the modem?

Hi, Same issue except I haven’t purchased a router from GL iNet. I am on Verizon Wireless and have the same usb modem mifi novatel 620L. I have tried to use my Asus Router 66n’s usb WAN connection but it doesn’t pass the wifi to the network. Are the GL iNet router designed differently to handle usb modems or is it a Verizon issue. Seems that verizon states the usb modem obtains it’s IP from the computer it is connected to and I guess the asus router isn’t a computer. Can you help

Sorry I don’t have an answer. I am not in the us and able to test.
