The shift key on the virtual keyboard does not function. There is no way to type the symbols located on the numbers like the @ and ! symbols. Caps lock does work but only for letters. Currently the only work around I have found is to map the shift+number for each symbol in the Toolbox shortcuts. Can you make the shift key work for one keypress after clicking on it? Also would be handy to have option for Windows keyboard or Mac keyboard.
May I confirm that if your firmware version is our latest one(1.4.0 release1) .
In my RM1 with latest firmware, the combination (shift + numbers key) works fine.
currently using 1.4.1 release 1, but I had same problem on the last firmware also. Possibly it's because I'm using Firefox to access the unit? I'll try a different browser and report back.
OK, I tried MS Edge and Firefox on PC and and neither have working shift key in virtual keyboard.
I tried Safari on IOS and Firefox on Android, they both have working shift key.
Please correct me if I misunderstanding. You mean the virtual keyboard like in our mobile device, the shift key can be locked which is more convenient to enter symbols like "!@#$%".

no, not in the mobile app. Using a web browser on a PC, like Edge or Firefox. in the web browser you can enter the ip address of the device and it will allow a login to the device directly. The shift key does not seem to operate properly in the web application.
