Okay so, the documentation is is poor, and maybe only designed for master gurus.
I wish to ask GL-NET to please, make vlans easy to setup for normal consumers. Yes, the nice GUI allows you to put your wireless onto different networks really easy. I liked that in my Flint 2.but its only for wireless/IOT.
I would like to see the GUI updated so we can include LAN devices also. I have two NAS units I would have liked to also put onto different networks, but LUCI is just too mind numbing for me. So for the love of God, please add the ability to make local LAN VLANs easy as you did for the front end GUI and IOT/Wireless devices
Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion.
In version 4.10 and later, we have introduced the ability to assign Ethernet ports to different networks, including configuring VLANs. Please refer to the following documentation for further details:
Not for me mate. I have the Fortify (Express VPN) version of Flint 2. It only allows the Max firmware version 4.9 - The firmware update section says 4.9 for this router is the latest. PLEASE apply that to the Fortify.
Also., the Fortify is missing all the other VPN provider presets - Please add them also.
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Yes, Fortify will receive updates to newer firmware versions, but this will take some more time. Thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, Fortify was developed in partnership with ExpressVPN, so we are unable to add built-in integrations for other VPN providers. However, if another provider lets you export a compatible configuration file, you should still be able to import it into router and use the service.
Okay. But then why did you guys leave out the VLAN GUI and FIREWALL|?
Can I remove this firmware and replace it with 4.10? Can I just manually download 4.10 and use the router firmware upgrade and apply it to the Fortify router? Its missing so much
