VPN and Adguard Dashboard Missing

My VPN and Adguard Dashboard is missing from my AX1800 flint.
I'm using firmware version 4.6.8 and I bought this one from Amazon, so it must be an international version.

I bought mine from Amazon as well, and I didn't have any of these issues. I also installed the latest BETA version from here https://fw.gl-inet.com/firmware/mt6000/testing/openwrt-mt6000-4.7.0-1018-1729252345.bin and it is working like a charm, especially the VPN with Wireguard, you have tons of options and providers

The Chinese market model doesn't have those two features however the firmware usually reports CN on the main homepage.

You can read more here:

Now if you have purchased it on Amazon then I'm guessing the seller is selling the Chinese models. I would just return it and purchase again from a different seller. Check the sellers name on Amazon before repurchasing or just make sure to use the official glinet store site.

Im not sure how / if glinet can help here now as they made a statement about not allowing to revert firmware after they announced, however you unknowingly purchased a Chinese model so maybe this needs to be flagged up somewhere.

Please follow the debrick manual Debrick via Uboot - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 to check if it will solve your issue. The chinese firmware states CN on the main page, this isn't the case here - which is weird.

But screenshot does not marked CN

I can confirm I bought it from the official GL.iNet store. Also it doesn't have CN on the main page.
I managed to upgrade Adguard using [Script] Update AdGuard Home and I can access it via port 3000. But still no Adguard or VPN clients from the main interface.
Checking at the logs, I see

# logread | grep adguard

I don't know if it's related or not.

I will try Debrick via Uboot - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 to see if it will solve my issue.

Yeah that's what I said

Hopefully it gets resolved.

Hi,
Did you fix it the dashboard adguard? How ?
I have the same issue.

thanks

Do you see CN in your routers dashboard?

No, I dont but where should I look?
In fact I destroy adguard when removing some packages (plugins menu). Now I add it but no shorcut is created.

Reset the router then and be more careful next time.

I have so many configs inside... Static IPs, routes, VPN's.
For now I don't have the courage to reset it....

Is there is another way...

If you removed the glsdk packages and you can't find them in the plugin page anymore ... no, no other way.

Create a backup of your config via luci before.

Yes, the name was something like that (glsdk xxx) :fearful:
I buy maynly the router thinking on the adguard unit, now I dont have it.... :sob: :sob:

Well, better be careful next time

Create a backup of your whole config: [OpenWrt Wiki] Backup and restore

You might even be able to restore the whole config and still get AdGuard back, after your reset. But I can't promise this for sure. Try it.
