Vpn is connected but don't have internet

hi , I have a GL-AX1800 / Flint , each time I try to connect to a server(vpn) he shows it's connected everything is fine but , I don't have internet when I want to use it I start to have this problem since the update 4.6.4 he show all server work on the interface , but no internet when I try to use it

Especially check your DNS connectivity while connected. I guess this might be the issue.

Please disable "Allow Custom DNS to Override VPN DNS" and try again.

Came here with this issue as well and just wanted to document the advice from @admon resolved my issue.

Brume 2 - GL-MT2500
VPN - Mullvad

Configured VPN policy based on Client Device --> Traffic from the following devices Do not use VPN

Any device that is on the list can access the internet. Any device with their own VPN client can access the internet. All other devices could not access the internet. Disabling "Allow Custom DNS to Override VPN DNS" in Network --> DNS resolved this issue.
