VPN Lan to Client Setup with GLInet Router

I want to use my Home VPN to create a bridge at my dads house with a GLinet router as a clinet on the VPN server I can get the VPN Server to connect to the GLINET Client and transfer Data but i can not ping all of the devices on the network I can only ping some of them. I can Ping both Gateways. Cant this be Done?

Q1: The ASUS router is used as OpenVPN server, both of your dads router and your router are used as client connect to it, right?
Q2: You want to access the intranet of your dads house, right?
