I have a Flint 2 Router running Stable 4.8.3.
I have NordVPN via Wireguard, Adguard Home, and Tailscale all installed.
I have a Linux Mint exit node connected via eth.
My goal is to have all portable devices (iphone, ipad, macbook) connected to the exit node 24/7 and route all traffic through the AdGuard Home filters and selected upstream DNS, then through NordVPN.
What is happening right now when i use the exit node is that NordVPN’s DNS servers are taking over the DNS traffic and im missing out on the AdGuard filters. When I use something like Connection check | Mullvad VPN instead of it confirming that i am using Mullvad DNS(this is set as the sole upstream DNS in Adguard Home) i get DNS servers that are for NordVPN.
When I do NOT use the exit node. The checker confirms im using Mullvad DNS.
So i figure it HAS to be an issue with Tailscale settings but if im being honest, I don’t know enough to be sure of anything.
MagicDNS is enabled, and my Global Nameserver is set to 194.242.2.5 with “Override DNS Servers” toggled on & the nameserver set to “Use with exit node”
Im not sure if this is a Glinet router issue OR a Tailscale issue hence the cross post.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
