VPN and adguard enabled on router
I have paid VPN service enabled on the router. it was working fine until this year 2024 youtube blocked VPN. Required to log in. when VPN enable on the router, youtube would block video with the message "Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot." It can be by pass by selecting different vpn. However, it becomes difficult to find server that by pass this message.
Is there away to only white list youtube service on the router, but other traffic still passthrough VPN?
Reason you get these bot challenges is due to the VPN IP getting blacklisted as spammy, hence you need to choose a different server from time to time.
To answer your question. Yes, you can change the "global policy" mode to "VPN Policy Based on the Target Domain or IP" you can then select "Do not Use VPN" and add the YouTube domain.
Go to the admin gui and select VPN > VPN Dashboard, click on the word "Global Proxy" (it's actually a button) and then choose the mode I stated above.
I see you have have adguard enabled, you will need to toggle OFF "AdGuard Home Handle Client Requests" under the glinet admin gui for adguard home settings in order for policy based routing on domain to work correctly
