WAN/LAN port as full LAN

Hi,

So I got the MT6000 because it has the ability to use its second 2.5gbps port as a LAN for a personal device. The device setup was overall easy, however, when I try to use the WAN/LAN port (the 2.5gbps one) my speeds drop drastically from the otherwise 1300mbps to 8xxmpbs. Is there any way to fully use the second port to fully take advantage on my PC?

Do you use VPN or just „plain“ Internet?

I'm just using plain internet. no vpn or firewall or anything. I'm not a network wiz, so all the extra stuff that can be installed is a bit confusing to me.

Did you already update the firmware to the newest version? Which one do you use right now?

Yeah, i updated immediately after booting and seting up, its currently suing version 4.6.2 release1

might I add that now when i plug into that wan/lan port it now maxes out at 100mbps.
