What if there are two screens?

I have a laptop connected to a dock station, and I'm currently using two monitors with no issues. So I wanted to control my PC remotely via KVM, allowing me to access it from anywhere. I bought a Comet (GL-RM1) for this purpose.

However, after connecting it via the HDMI port, only one of the monitors shows up remotely — and unfortunately, it's just the secondary display, which I mainly use for reference documents.

What I really want is to have the main monitor be the one I can access remotely, not the secondary one.
Is there a way to configure this? Maybe some setting in Windows display settings or on the KVM itself to specify which screen gets transmitted?

Any advice would be appreciated!

To the remote computer the kvm will just appear to be another monitor. Since there is only one hdmi input on the kvm, you will be limited to using one hdmi output for remote work.

You have to configure your remote device’s display settings.
Sounds like you want the main monitor to be mirrored to the kvm output.

If you really just want to mirror the main display but don't want to or can't set the OS to mirror mode you can also look into an HDMI splitter off the main monitor port.
