What is the proper way to change the hostname of my Mango v2 device?

Hello
For GL-MT300N-V2 how can I change the hostname?

I changed it through Luci here
…cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/system
and here
…/cgi-bin/luci/admin/network/hosts
but the routers to which I connect the Mango still show the old name?

This will work.
You need to reconnect the terminal.

service network restart should kick it into effect for any upstream DHCP assignments… or just power cycle/reboot.
