Hello All.
I have setup Adguard and parental control in order to protect certain IP's within that network (working on a Flint2 FW 4.6.2).
After creating the new network i have noticed in the list of all the connected clients some
entries MAC addresses have an info mark telling that some of the connected devices are using a randomized MAC, especially phones.
I wonder how is this going to work if the client devices keep changing MAC randomly.
By giving static IP to all desired devices to make it possible to have Adguard and parental control work.
However if the MAC keeps changing over time will the router be able to track that device and keep its IP address same?
Otherwise the Adguard and parental control might not work anymore.
It appears somehow the router tracks MAC address changes otherwise there would not be info tag ?
Could someone please elaborate how this affects Adguard/parental control?
Will those devices get a new IP address after they randomize their MAC or do they keep the original static IP that was assigned?
Thank you.
