When new firmware will be released based on new linux kernel?

I have a question about router firmware . I migrated to openwrt firmware , gained some experience and sort of my problems and I keen to go back to Gl-inet firmware .
my question is when stock kernel firmware will be updated to include those features from
openwrt 24.10 releases :

Updated Linux kernel to 6.6.73
Updated toolchain:
musl libc 1.2.5
glibc 2.38
gcc 13.3.0
binutils 2.42

Network:
hostapd master snapshot from September 2024, dnsmasq 2.90, dropbear 2024.86
cfg80211/mac80211 from kernel 6.12.6
I suppose that current Flint 2 firmware have Linux kernel from version 5.15 if based on openwrt 23.10

The release cycle of GL firmware does not follow the OpenWrt release cycle.

Firmware updates will be considered by the devs and project management.

Hello, GL firmware does not follow OpenWRT version updates, it has own update plans follow by PM and depends on the market situation, since the GL firmware develop own customize features. GL firmware with the closed-source has no plans to update to OpenWRT v24.10 recently. GL firmware with the open-source firmware is already update to v24.10, like the Flint 2 op24 firmware: GL.iNet download center Thank you.
