When will Flint 2 get next stable FW

No stable FW since 10/16, 4.8.3. Wondering when security patches will be merged into a new stable FW for Flint 2? Thank you and Happy New Year.

As Bruce mentioned earlier, the closed-source firmware will incorporate the two security patches prior to the regular release.
No specific timeline is available at this time, as these security issues have minimal impact on GL.iNet devices.

  • CVE-2025-62525: This affects only specific hardware platforms and does not include the hardware used by GL.iNet.
  • CVE-2025-62526: This vulnerability can only be exploited if the malware is manually installed.
