When will openwrt 23.05 officially support MT2500?

Now still using 21.02 which is too old
Anyone know when 23.05 will be supported

Hi there, I have no estimate but it depends on the user that is willing to port it to 23.05. The new MT6000 has hardware that is allready supported in the codebase of OpenWrt. Which allows it to be supported by OpenWrt on release. A few memory chips of the MT2500 aren’t.

A developer called Daniel Golle on the OpenWrt forums is working on porting 23.05 to the MT2500.

Immortal now have a 23.05 snapshot available. Interesting to see if this fixes the issues with 23.04. When I tried that it had issues as soon as I connected it to my Orbi mesh system and had no internet.
