Of course, you can buy used routers on the internet — but not old devices from GL directly. This is completely normal, since they are not in stock anymore and nobody will produce old devices if there is already a newer version.

I agree with you, it would be great if users would inform the community where to buy a used device. Models differ from each other in technical characteristics, even after they stopped being produced. There are models that have stopped being produced and they are better than new ones.
