Wi-Fi disconnects on 4.7.0 OP24

I have the 5GHz radio on and the 2.4GHz radio off. When I connect the 2.4GHz radio to the printer and turn it off again since I don't use it and I like to have it off, the 5GHz radio also turns off.

Hello,

When disabling/enabling/modifying the WiFi configuration, the WiFi/AP signal will be temporarily turned off, since the WiFi needs to be reinitialized and started. About 5-10 seconds.

  1. After about 10 seconds, has 5GHz WiFi not been searched?

  2. If you enable the 2.4GHz WiFi again, can 5GHz WiFi be searched?

  3. Please inform me of the router model and let me know how to reproduce it. I would like to reproduce on my router to check.

Hi

  1. No
  2. No
  3. Flint 2 v4.7.0-op24, My personal setup is to have the 5GHz radio on and the 2.4GHz radio off. But every now and then I print something and have to turn the 2.4GHz radio on. When I turn it off again, the 5GHz radio is no longer available. I have to turn the 5GHz radio off and back on again for it to do the 10-second scan and then work again.

Hello,

Seems did not reproduce this issue.

As in the dynamic image, the PC keep ping the 5G wireless client, and I enables/disables 2.4G WiFi multiple times, and the ping is not disconnected, indicating that 5GHz WiFi is working ok.

Please try to reset the firmware and test it again.

Thanks, I've got it working properly now. I reset the firmware as you indicated.
