I just Received my GL iNet GL-A1300 Slate Plus AC 1300 Wireless Router and set up with wired connection to my home Telstra modem I have Internet connection.
As soon as I try using the GL -A1300 as Repeater in wireless mode it shows my Telstra modem as the unit but can't get internet, showing internet not available?
I did a factory reset and got it going by selecting 2.4G setup from the Telstra modem. This apparently doesn't have 5G. I did have trouble setting up password changes though.
Maybe the Telstra modem WiFi is in DFS channel?
Please try manually setting the modem WiFi channel to CH36/40/44/48.
The A1300 supported 5GHz wireless feature, including repeater and own WiFi.
May I know what question did you encounter when setting the password?
I tried my iPad and at first it didn't take the new password saying(wrong password) I checked several times, even changing the password again as the first time it even said the original password was wrong, which had been the one that came with the unit. Anyway all devices seem to have signed in now ok, So I don't know happened there,
