On 4.7.7 my Wireguard configs work however when I upgrade to any 4.8.* version my Wireguard only allows internet access and doesn’t allow access to the network, what changes do i need to make to make it work?

Do you mean that you are attempting to access devices on the WireGuard client side (the GL.iNet router’s LAN) from the WireGuard server side?
If so, please ensure that Allow Remote Access to the LAN Subnet is enabled.
Thank you for replying, yes remote access and IP masquerading has been on in both versions I also modified my firewall like this:
However on 4.8.* nothing seems to work anymore, I can only connect to VPN and use internet, no more network access.
In firmware 4.8.x, WireGuard interfaces created via the GL UI have been renamed to wgclient1, wgclient2, and so on.
If you previously created firewall zones manually, please make sure they reference the correct networks/interfaces.
If the issue persists, we recommend restoring the device to factory settings and configuring it again:
