I decided to back up the 3.26 on mango and do a clean install to 4.3.11beta. I assumed I could just use the UI to create the clients in the correct order to preserve their ip and leave the new “config peers” setting and just cut and paste each users client_key and private key. sadly that did not work. is there a migration tool available?
problem solved. you have to set the private server key first in the gui before creating the new clients. Stop the server. Then you can migrate your 2 keys. “option client_key” in 3.x was changed to “option public_key” in 4.x and “option private_key” held the same name.
