Wireguard vpn from Asus router not working on Beryl AX, but the same vpn config works on the wireguard app

Very novice with networking, so this might be a very easy fix. Here's the configuration for how my vpn tunnel is setup on my Asus ZenWifi Pro.

This works when imported into the Wireguard app on my iPhone and MacBook, but I don't know why I'm not able to load websites when running this vpn configuration through my Beryl AX. Does anything look like it needs changing in order to work with the Beryl AX?

[Interface]
PrivateKey = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Address = 10.6.0.2/32
DNS = 10.0.0.2

[Peer]
PublicKey = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
AllowedIPs = 0.0.0.0/0
Endpoint = xxxxxxxxxx.asuscomm.com:51820
PersistentKeepalive = 25

If the config works on the WG app but not on the router, check that there is no overlapping network. For example only 1 router should use 192.168.8.x / 192.168.9.x

It looks fine.

Pls pay attention to the following:

  1. Don't use the Beryl AX inside of the Asus' network. You need to use in another network.
  2. Make sure Beryl AX has normal internet without Wireguard
  3. If you have any vpn policies, killswitch configured, pls let me know. I remember that there is a bug of resolving the dns if you use killswitch.
  4. What is the firmware version of your Beryl AX?

@admon @alzhao Thanks for the replies! I think you were right about the router IP. I brought my Beryl AX to a new location, and now I'm not having any issues connecting to the VPN.

I'll have to check what the IP is for that previous router when I go back to that location. But it probably is the same as what my Beryl AX is set to.
