Wireless Connection in Ubuntu Mode for Brume-W

I have the Brume-W. Is it possible to wirelessly connect it to my home router when it is running in ubuntu mode? If yes, please let me know how to do it. It seems to me that the hardware is capable of doing so. Thanks!

Besides, can Brume-W’s ubuntu OS recognize 4G-LTE USB modem dongles and use it as a 4G-failover backup connection? Thanks for your reply!

Answering questions…

  1. NetworkManager is your friend - NMTUI is fairly powerful, and drivers for the WiFi chip should already be in the kernel.

  2. 4G-LTE modems - check out ModemManager, it’s in the ubuntu upstream repo’s

Running ubuntu on Brume - there’s some assumptions made that the user is experienced with ubuntu on ARM
