Wireless radios not accessible within LuCi - GL-MT6000 (Flint 2)

Hello,

I was trying to create another wireless access point in Luci but I am unable to find the 2.4 Ghz radios to apply as devices. I believe I may have somehow deleted the radios.

Upon trying to set up an access point for the 2.4 Ghz band, I am unable to select the 2.4 Ghz radios ra0 and ra1, and am left with a message stating that wireless is not associated.

How can I go about restoring access to these wireless radios?

Hello,

Adding wireless radio manually on Luci may cause incomplete parameter in the configuration file, and cause wireless radio to fail to boot properly.

Please SSH to router, in /etc/config/wireless, add 'option ifname ' in the 'config wifi-iface':

If feel difficult to edit configuration file, it is suggested to reset the firmware first, and refer to point 3 of this post to add the radios with one click using the uci commands:

Hi Bruce,

Thank you for the reply. I have been unable to SSH into the router for some time now. It doesn't work with GoodCloud or via an SSH client. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the VPN running? Any suggestions to get this working are greatly appreciated.

I have a few VLANs that are currently set up on the network, so I'd like to avoid resetting everything if that is possible.

I am also adding in my system logs for reference.

Hello,

The reason why SSH and WiFi are not accessible, there may be no relevant logs in syslog, it is impossible to check the reason.

If you don't want to reset the firmware, SSH to the router is required, since we need to read the router wireless configuration and check for errors.

Is SSH not allowed through LAN clients, like PC? What errors are reported when connecting SSH?

Are there any custom firewall rules that block the SSH port 22?

If no idea, it is recommended to reset the firmware and follow the above steps to add the third WiFi.
