I can't enable network acceleration, it says, "This feature does not work because Clients speed limit is enabled.".
However, I've never used speed limiting. Under clients, I only have one device (my router) which is set to unlimited.
I've tried setting a limit and disabling:
That doesn't resolve the issue.
I have no special packages installed, I've tried rebooting, not using VPN, and I've rebooted a few times with no change.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Any suggestions before I do a reset?
Rule #1, always help mention your firmware version when asking for help. In case it is a bug that has already fixed by the latest release.
What about the 10 currently offline clients (and parent control). I believe even though those 10 clients are currently offline, if limit is set to any one of them, and they can be online anytime to clash with acceleration, acceleration won't be enabled.
I'm using the latest version that released recently.
I don't know what the 10 offline clients means, there are no offline clients because I only connect this to my primary router:
It also gives a warning that network acceleration is enabled, but it's actually disabled.
I've already been through LuCI, everything is default. I'm thinking this is either a bug or a stuck configuration somewhere...
It might just be easier to reset it.
LOL, My poor eyesight read your offline device (0) as (10)
Yeah, perhaps a staled cached setting, better reset it, as I have no such issue (4.7.4)
Haha, no worries. Yeah, I think there's a cached setting somewhere. I'll just reset it tonight.. easier!
