I have a t-mobile sim installed on my X3000 and I also have the X3000 repeating WIFI, with WIFI set as the priority over cellular. Problem is, it seems a fair amount of cellular data is being used even though I'm using wifi... like a GB a day or so.
Do you have a way with the carrier to see if you are actually using a gig a day on cellular to determine if it is actually happening or is just a reporting issue on the router?
Yes, there is traffic in a unused connection. The MultiWAN feature is checking if the device is online via Ping test. See: Multi-WAN - GL.iNet Router Docs 4
This should not consume 1 GB per day. Could it be a display error (round up)?
