I have just updated my recently purchased router with firmware: 4.4.11 2024-08-24.

Is there anything else that needs updating in the router? If so, how is this achieved please?

Can any other experienced Spitz users recommend any good tweaks that they have done to improve the router's performance.

What are the issues you currently have?

If there are no issues, no tweaks are needed :wink:

But some suggestions anyway:

  • Use AdGuard Home to block Ads - helps not only for privacy but might speed up surfing as well
  • Enable GoodCloud for remote access
  • Try band masking if you experience that the router switches to bands which are not fast enough but may have better signal quality: Cellular - GL.iNet Router Docs 4
