X3000 WebUI refusing connection

I have had this unit setup for a few months using tmobile 5g. I'm currently running one of the latest beta firmwares. Normally I have no issues logging into the webui through my main network which this is normally plugged into or the app via goodcloud. Well I decided to take this on a trip, turns out the location im staying out has no cell service and is fed internet by starlink. So I figured cool I'll use the repeater function and still use my GLiNet.. wrong.

Since loosing the 5G connection I can't use the app for local control, the webui won't connect at all, and the logs I have enabled in the app show it trying to connect to random ports on the x3000 but getting a connection refused. The only thing im able to do is ssh into the unit but im not familiar enough to play with anything in there.

If I hook the Wan into the network jack on the starlink it will allow clients to connect to the internet but still won't allow me to access the configuration. I'm taking the device into town where there is signal tomorrow to see if I can login once it has 5G again. But not sure what else to do. I'd rather not reset it right now as I did tweak some stuff when I set this up months ago.

Hello,

  1. When the X3000 is disconnected from the cellular 5G, and the client (phone, laptop) cannot access the GL GUI, is your client connected to the X3000 WiFi or wired? How about if the client and X3000 wired connection?

  2. When the X3000 connects to Starlink, the client can connect to the Internet, what is your client IP at this time? Is it the LAN IP of X3000?

  3. Is your X3000 set to "Passthrough" mode?

  4. If can log in to the Web UI, please try exporting syslog and the backup configuration. I would like to check this configuration.

I have tried both wired and wireless, I've also tried different browsers.

I am getting the correct LAN IP from the x3000. I have 192.168.72.xxx set. It's not in pass-through mode.

I still haven't been able to make it into the webui yet. I didn't make it to town today where there would be 5G service to test logging in.

I'm wondering if it's because I have custom DNS fields set and because it can't access the DNS servers it's doing weird stuff.

Can you access Luci?

192.168.x.y:8080/cgi-bin/luci/admin/status/overview

I was actually able to get into luci with that path.

Checking the logs im seeing 2 errors spamming.

Daemon.err eco#: call wifi.get_config fail: connect "127.0.0.1 80" fail: connection refused

Daemon.err eco#: call modem.get_sim_signal fail: connect "127.0.0.1 80" fail: connection refused

Through luci I updated to the snapshot 4.8.0 released 6-9-2025 and I now have access to the webui again without 5G access
