Can I use “backup settings” on one of them to set up another one?
I mean aka “clone” settings… Will this work?
It's not recommended and might brick the OS at some point - depends on the settings.
It would clone the device, including all settings and (for example) the unique certificates. If the device uses different hardware (for example, different Wi-Fi card) it won't work.
So it's not recommended and not supported.
(P.S. It's not useful nor recommended tagging team members if you write a new thread. They will read it anyway)
