Is there a way to get the xe3000 to auto connect to different wifi networks when they are in range and repeat the signal? I have a mobile business and I want my xe3000 to connect to my business wifi when I am at my shop and the wifi is in range and also to connect to my house when it's in range. I have tools in my vehicle that require a lot of data to update and it would be nice to not have to bring them inside to update. Sometimes it could be 50GB or more to update. Also I was wondering if there was a way to have the router shut off at night say around 9pm and turn back on at 8am so people are not trying to hack it or even know it is available. I had a router in the past someone found a vulnerability and stated downloading things at night at my shop and I ended up getting letters in the mail about it. I ended up having to get a new router so now I set everything to turn off at night.
GL router support the auto connect the saved multi-WiFi, such as:
The router repeater has saved 2 WiFi (different). If the repeater is enabled and not connected, it will keep searching for these 2 WiFi until one of them is connected.
If the router is schedule to shut down and the schedule (this feature is OS software based) cannot be executed to boot-up. This cannot realize.
Recommended to schedule to turn on/off WiFi and ensure that the LAN device connected to the router has no security risks and other APs.
Or enable the Clients whitelist.
I assume that will no risk of illegal connection.
