Another WISP/Repeater issue MT-300A ext

I’ve been testing different firmware version from 2.4 to 2.7. And the client just dropping connections with different reason from logs.

  1. STA ac:ed:5c:21:9a:58 IEEE 802.11: disconnected due to excessive missing ACKs

  2. IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE)

  3. br-lan: port 2(wlan0) entered disabled state

This has been pretty unusable to my part. I saw reason that main router signal is weak but I also have tp-link mini router which is not disconnecting for days. And main router is only 2-3 meters away.

I’ve been testing gargoyle firmware for this router using NEx wt3020 firmware and its alot stable than gl-inet firmware and I found the UI tobe more user friendly. My only issue is the button reset is not working.

I got your email as well.

I never had such a problem myself. So this is a problem for us to debug.

But the message you send is very useful. Seems this is a problem with Opensource MTK driver. This problem will not happen in AR series and MT300N-V2.

We are still checking if we can solve the problem of MT300N and MT300A.
