Anyone has Spitz AX (GL-X3000) setup with new Visible wireless plan

I’m looking at cellular hotspot data plans (in the US) for the Spitz AX I just received. Using Verizon’s IMEI checker, it reports that the device is not compatible. That seems unlikely. Have any of the Spitz AX early adopters activated their AX on Verizon?
